About: RC Dads PDX 

Chris and Gabe met about 8 years ago through a mutual friend in Portland, OR. Since the beginning they both have had common hobby interests. They started out with video games, board games, just hanging out, and like to try new hobbies. About 4 years ago they decided to stop at the local hobby store and thought it would be a great idea to see what had changed in the RC car world. Years before they meet they both played with RC cars. Wow! The hobby has changed. They looked at the cars that were in stock and spoke with the store about what would be a good option to get back into the hobby.  They agreed to get the same car, the Traxxas Slash 4x4. Sadly, life got in the way and they only played with the cars a few times. 

 It wasn’t until Chris’s son was born in September 2020 when Chris and Gabe started talking about the RC hobby again.  They came up with the idea to create a YouTube channel and called themselves RC Dads PDX.  They are about having fun with the Remote-Control hobby, unboxing products, reviews, racing, and meeting others from the RC community.
